Welcome to week eight of our weekly what’s on. This will showcase events that are happening at both stadiums, and what’s going on with Basketball and Netball. This article will have upcoming events, information about Basketball and Netball competitions, NBL1 updates, weekly specials and what is generally happening around the Stadiums.

NBL1

• Round three of the NBL1 season tipped off on Saturday night with Ballarat Miners taking on Bendigo Braves
• Round four of the NBL1 will see the Ballarat Miners have a double header this weekend.
• Saturday night that Ballarat Miners will take on Kilsyth at Kilsyth Sports Centre, with the girls tipping off at 6:00pm and boys at 8:00pm, click here to watch the game
• Sunday will see the Ballarat Miners back home as they take on Casey, the girls will tip off from 12:00pm with the boys at 2:00pm, get your tickets here

Referee 

• Saturday May 21st Ballarat Basketball will be hosting a level 0 referee course, for more information about this please contact Chloe Dunmore via email at c.dunmore@ballaratbasketball.com

Netball

• NetSetGo starts this Wednesday at 4:15pm
• NetSetGo registrations are now open for term two, register here
• Round 10 of the 2022 Premiership Season kicks off this week

Casual Shooting

• Casual Shooting is back as per normal, for times and pricing click here
• How we loan out basketballs to causal shooters has changed, for more information click here

Merchandise 

• Merchandise store is open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday nights when Miners are playing a home game.
• Merchandise is currently at a heavily discounted rate (excluding basketballs, netballs, drink bottles and referee), this is instore only so get down to Selkirk Stadium.

Community Programs 

• Our community hoops programs kicked off last week, week one of all programs was a successful week. Registrations are still open for Aussie Hoops (ages 4-7) and All Abilities Hoops (5-13 years living with a disability), unfortunately Rookie Hoops is full for term two, if you wish to go onto a wait list for term three please email Amber Bumpstead at reception@ballaratbasketball.com
