What’s happening this week (02/05/2022 – 08/05/2022)

Welcome to week seven of our weekly what’s on. This will showcase events that are happening at both stadiums, and what’s going on with Basketball and Netball. This article will have upcoming events, information about Basketball and Netball competitions, NBL1 updates, weekly specials and what is generally happening around the Stadiums.


  • Round two of the NBL1 season tipped off on Saturday night with both Miners teams coming home with a win against Eltham Wildcats

  • Round three will see the Miners take on Bendigo Braves at Bendigo Stadium on Saturday night with the women tipping off at 5:30pm and men at 7:30pm, get your tickets here


  • Saturday May 21st Ballarat Basketball will be hosting a level 0 referee course, for more information about this please contact Chloe Dunmore via email at c.dunmore@ballaratbasketball.com


  • NetSetGo registrations are now open for term two, NetSetGo starts Wednesday May 11th, register here
  • Round 9 of the 2022 Premiership Season kicks off this week

Casual Shooting

  • Casual Shooting is back as per normal, for times and pricing click here
  • How we loan out basketballs to causal shooters has changed, for more information click here


  • Merchandise store is open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday nights when Miners are playing a home game.
  • Merchandise is currently at a heavily discounted rate (excluding basketballs, netballs, drink bottles and referee), this is instore only so get down to Selkirk Stadium.
